Day34 Source Synthesis Workshop

0. Source Synthesis Practice Activity
    Read the article assigned to you.
    Complete the chart in this Google Docs: Source Synthesis Practice.
    Discuss how to use it with your group members. 
1. When to Paraphrase, Quote, or Summarize
    Let's go to this Google Doc, When to PQS.
    Complete the chart in groups.
2. Your own Source Relevancy Chart
    Open your Source Relevancy Chart and outline from your pre-research portfolio.
    Based on the information you have in those two documents,
    write at least one paragraph by synthesizing sources in your IRP Draft Google Doc.
3. Trouble Shooting and Peer Review
Tips. How to Start Writing IRP?
    Download the IRP PIE outline form and start outlining.
    Save it to your Unit4 sub folder in Google Drive.
    Name it "IRP_PIE_Outline_YOURNAME".
    Outline will be also graded along with your drafts, but you do not need to constanty update it.
    Make sure you have the outline because it will help you keep coherence and conicseness of IRP.

1. Solution#2 Body paragraphs
    Start completing the outline, which will help you with writing the first draft.
    Make sure you have 3 distinctive paragraphs of Description, Critique, and Suggestion for Improvement.
    Save the first draft of the IRP into your Unit4 folder.
    Name the file "IRP_Draft_YOURNAME"
    Either Google doc or MS word doc is fine with me,
    but make sure that you update the file every time you add something new.
    Final submission should be in MS word doc form.
